I think the real origin of the continental/analytic divide is laziness. Given that you'd have to read so much more to appreciate the other side, one picks up a few representative examples to make sure they're not wrong, quickly reads through them, horribly misinterprets them, then calls it a day.
I think I'm a reluctant anarchist in the sense that I wish something other than anarchy would have worked But am an anarchistic because I believe the state won't work. Against the state. Against the nation. For the people. I liked Occupy for the reason that it gave me that experience where people could be people. We all are just dancing according to whatever nonsense. And anarchy is the way out of that nonsense. If we just choose to see it, and act on it.
Well, In better judgment perhaps I'd have done different. But I have to say there's a certain amount of pride I feel in having been booted from twitter by telling who I took to be a member of the house of lords to "fuck off and die booji" lol. @HuxleyDick is the @ which I refuse to activate. They gave me a ban for violating their terms of service -- and to reactivate the account I have to give them my phone number to prove myself in order to begin the count down. At this point my feeling is that my twitter account was just me screaming into the void. I liked the strange mixture between being connected to the world in some way that was more than a prayer, yet people who were annoyed enough with my antics could ignore me. Like, literally, block me. I needed that in between space for awhile. But I'm being tempted to move onto a blog now to fulfill that need. I've had a blog before and I recall it had much less attention than my twitter account anyways :D But t...
